Culture Shock

Guys, have u wonder what are your penis used for? Penis is used for urination and ejaculation. Do you believe that others praise for penis in their culture. Penis is meant for propersity, fertility, and protection, all strong reasons to keep this ritual alive... like in Bhutan, Indonesia, Thailand and Japan... they praise penis as their god... believe? this is all FACT... HaHa!!!

http://bhutanesecommunity.blogspot.com/2009/08/phallic-tradition.html
( This is the blog where all the information I told all of u is ...)

In Bhutan the phallus (penis) is an integral part of ceremonies
served by communities, commonly used to ward off evil spirits and counter evil. Be it a newly constructed house or a new purchased car. Wooden phallus of different shape and size are used to ward off evils. (Phallic tradition)

In Japanese, they celebrated the penis in Kanamara Festival in Kawasaki, Japan...

A visitor eats a phallus-shaped candy during the Kanamara Festival, or the Utamaro Festival, at Wakamiya Hachimangu Shrine on April 5, 2009 in Kawasaki, Japan. The annual feritility festival, held traditionally in the cherry blossom season since the Edo era (1603-1868), is said to encourage fertility and bring harmony to married couples. In recent times the festival has raised awareness of AIDS prevention.

friendship...

A Friend Most True
For poetry tributes about your closest friends
I need to know if you’re my true friend,
will you be by my side until the end?
Can I tell you my secrets deep,
and trust them in your heart you’ll keep?
We are neither of us without our flaws,
can you accept mine as I will yours?
I’ll be a shoulder to cry on when you’re blue,
will you be there for me when I need you?
No matter how busy I will make time for you,
if you are busy will you make time for me too?
I will take your hand and comfort your tears,
will you hold me and soothe my fears?
I will give you joy and many warm smiles,
can we share that even across many miles?
I will not forget what’s important to you,
will you remember what’s important to me too?
With you my most favourite things I’ll share,
If only I know do you truly care?
If you can accept me as I do you,
then I will know you are a friend most true.

Broken friendships
I thought I had found the perfect friend,
But it only took about a week for that to end,
I thought there was hope left in my life,
But as it turns out, it was only added strife,
I thought for once I had done something right,
But I quickly corrected that oversight,
I thought I wasn’t useless or a bore,
But I was all that and even more,
I thought there was a purpose to my days,
But that was only a very short phase,
I thought you weren’t like all the rest,
But like those before, you failed the test,
I thought you would stay with me, at least for a bit,
But you decided it was better just to quit,
I thought life was worth living for a moment in time,
But the life I wanted could never be mine,
I thought the hunger inside had been fed,
But now I know, I was just being misled.
And now I think I’ve found another perfect friend,
How long before my heart is broken again?

Self-Hatred

(*Based on true story happened on 20th June 2006)

Self-hatred is a trait often encountered in humans. Self-hatred is very sad because it is an erosion of the soul. If someone becomes an expert in self-hatred, they will become very creative at finding ways to torture themselves to such a degree that the punishment becomes an avenue of comfort.

The seeds of self-hatred are sown in the experience of shame, humiliation and an excessive sensitivity to guilt. The secret rituals of throwing up, chewing nails to bleeding nubs, depriving oneself of food, drinking alone and silently, of never being good enough are all part of self-hatred.
Eleanor was my best friend since secondary school. Whenever I thought of her, a wave of emotions swept over me. Tears cascading out from my cheek…
Eleanor was overweight and diabetic, and had lost a leg because of poor circulation. She felt completely useless and became severely depressed. She said that if she ever lost her other leg, her life would be worth nothing. What she didn't know that soon she would be need regular dialysis, because her kidneys were starting to fail.
In time Eleanor became too sick to come to the group, so I would go to her room and sing for her there. One day I noticed she wasn't there. I looked for her name on the door and it was gone. Carmela, her roommate, told me she had just been transferred to the long-term wing.
I found Eleanor at the other side of the hospital, in the long-term building. She knew she had no more hope of rehabilitation. Although her mind was clear, they placed her in a dementia ward (there was really little choice; very few long-term patients were clear-minded), and she had no one to talk to. Her depression became overwhelming.
Eleanor identified with the confused and isolated patients she now lived with. She showed them a compassion often missing from the staff. One patient, John, suffered severe dementia and would often yell things no one could understand. With a fond smile Eleanor would reach out her hand to John, who would quietly take it into her own. John could not speak his gratitude, but clearly Eleanor's touch was comforting.
Staff neglect and the drastic change in environment added to the toll of Eleanor's illness. Her mental condition badly deteriorated. She became paranoid, convinced that staff members were speaking about her with hostile intentions when they might just be casually conversing in the halls. Eleanor would yell and curse at staff members, accusing them of lying and abusing her. This lost her even more sympathy and increased her isolation. Only during music did her mood ever improve.
I was walking towards the old building one day when I heard screaming. It was Eleanor, sitting in the lobby, waiting for her dialysis. The pickup was late and she was upset. She shouted at the security guard, calling him a liar and a son of a bitch. The guard lost his patience and shouted back: "Now you've done it. You've lost your privileges and you'll have to wait upstairs in your room." He roughly took her chair and started wheeling her into the elevator when I told him I knew where she lived and offered to take her up myself. He was only too happy to get rid of her.
Sitting next to her in her room, I could practically feel the tension in her body. She kept talking about how much she hated herself. Her body was failing her, her mind also, and she didn't know how to react anymore. I just sang to her, a song I had taught her only earlier that day:
Lean on me
When you're not strong
And I'll be your friend,
I'll help you carry on....
Eleanor sang with me, remembering most of the words. It made her feel good, she said. For the first time in a very long while she smiled. I made her promise to remember how that song made her feel.
Eleanor died the next day. She developed an infection, apparently from the stress and invasiveness of the dialysis. She died from complications of diabetes, but her strong self-hatred was also undoubtedly a factor. In spite of it, she could break through to some good moments. When others rejected John and made fun of him, Eleanor showed her love. I also found comfort in knowing that Eleanor could still feel a little love for herself through music. But those were isolated, tiny undulations in the atmosphere of rejection, by self and by others, in which she lived.

Revenge

“A bullet flew pass him and plunged into his heart…” Blood gushed out from his heart and he was groaning in pain. Patches of blood were everywhere. AHHH!!! … Swee Yang!!! A wave of emotion swept over him. Fabian’s chest heaved and fell with each breath he took. “Swee Yang! Swee Yang!”, he sobbed bitterly. He woke up suddenly, perspiring profusely and his eyes blurred with tears. Getting up from his cozy bed, he got himself a glass of ice-cold water and sat down to look at some old albums. As he flipped through the yellow-tinged photos, sad memories of the past came flooding back…
This incident happened about 10 years ago… The sky was a delightful expanse of azure blue. The clouds had no place in the morning sky where the majestic sun reigned supreme. Swee yang and Wesley were best friends since primary school. They strode confidently and in a relaxed manner to their school, Harry Potter Secondary School. They were chatting very happily and Swee Yang told Wesley that he met a girl that looked poised and demure. She looked expensively dressed and her hair was meticulously styled.
“ I was swooned at the sight of her beauty that my saliva kept drooling non-stop.”, Swee Yang replied fervently.
“Who is that beautiful and charming girl that made my best friend, Swee yang so excited?” Wesley exclaimed.
Suddenly, scent of perfume smell diffused all over the place and diffused into Swee Yang and Wesley’s nose, appearing a metre away from him was a sexy girl walking gracefully towards them.
“ Mei Yi! Mei Yi!” Swee Yang bellowed. He rushed towards her, held her hands and chatted happily with Swee Yang ignoring his best friend, Wesley aside. Leaving him standing there silently, numbed with shock and disbelief at the bizarre sight.
Dazed and confused, he stood wide-eyed at what was before him. “ Mei Yi…. Mei Yi… How could you be so mean to me? We had gone into relationship for two years and you flirted with another guy, Swee Yang who was my best friend.” Wesley leaned back with a sigh as a bitter smile lingered on his face. After this incident happened, he felt depressed and did not talk to anyone, he wandered around the pub, drunk himself, trying to forget the matter that happened today morning. The more he thought, he felt so livid and wanted to take a revenge on the person who stole his girlfriend.
Wesley did not contact Swee yang for couple of days. Swee yang also did not give a damn to Wesley anymore as he was attracted to Mei yi who was Wesley’s ex-girl friend. After a few days later, Wesley made a call to Swee yang asking him to go for a jog at the Magical garden park where the grey cobblestones paved a narrow, meandering path through the lush greenery. Fallen leaves and twigs drifted idly on the surface of the pond. Swee yang reached his destination at 5pm, waiting for his best friend, Wesley at the bench nearby. He could smell the richness of the soil and he was drifting in his sweet dream with his new girlfriend, Mei yi.
“Wake up! Swee Yang! Let’s go for a jog at the park.”Wesley exclaimed.
Swee yang opened his heavy eyelid, half awoke and started to jog happily with Wesley, chatting non-stop about the girl Swee yang met that day. The word, Mei yi suddenly provoked Wesley and his face was twitched with anger. Out of a sudden, his shirt was stained with blood and there was a pool of blood on the ground that seeped into the soil as he struggled for help, “Pl…ease save me!” and he collapsed on the ground with a loud thud.
“ IF I CANNOT GET WHAT I WANTED, NO ONE WILL GET WHAT THEY WANTED!”, Wesley blurted out in anger and walked away silently. Swishing through the wild grass with long powerful strides, he stopped in his tracks when he heard a weeping sound. Wesley got so terrified that he quickly escaped away from the scene. Fabian slogged towards his younger brother, Swee Yang, who was lying in a huge pool of blood, crying bitterly for the past two weeks.
Five years later, Wesley and his ex-girlfriend, Mei yi reunited together. They were having dinner at the Death restaurant having a sumptuous meals. Suddenly, Fabian passed by the restaurant and saw the murderer, Wesley having dinner with Mei yi.
“Just Watch out! I’ll make you pay for it!” Fabian said between clenched teeth
Fabian dashed into the restaurant yelled , “ My brother trusted you, and he had been always spoke good words to me about you and this is how you repay him back. I have only one brother. Both my parents were killed in the fire and Swee Yang was my only brother. You killed my only brother because of her, Mei Yi. I want to take revenge on my brother’s death and I will make you pay for it!!!”
“Bang! The bullet went amissed and went right through Mei Yi’s heart. Mei Yi groaned in pain as she collapsed. “Mei yi!!! Mei Yi!!!... Wesley mouthed the words. Anger filled his minds and he stood up and waved the knife towards Fabian. The knife swung from left to right, front and back. Suddenly, without notice, the knife stabbed onto Wesley’s back, blood started to ooz from his back and he groaned in pain.
After the doctor’s examination, Wesley had injured his spinal cord and he might spend his whole life paralysed, non-mobile. Fabian attended Mei Yi and his brother’s funeral, tears cascading from his cheek and he cried profusely. He also felt so sorry for Wesley that made him paralysed for his whole life. Fabian was so depressed and he thought that life was so meaningless, all of his family members had died, even his only hope, his younger brother had died. He wanted to be with his family in heaven and he hung himself to death.
Revenge is a harmful action against a person or group as a response to a (real or perceived) grievance. Revenge, at first though sweet, bitter are long back on itself recoils. Those who plot the destruction of others often perish in the attempt.

disillusionment

“Ouch! Ouch! Damn it! Its pain is killing me!” Mary moaned with tears cascading out. She tightened her grip on the bad railing, her lips quivered and her eyes were wild with fear. Her heart beat was pumping very fast as though it was going to drop out. She felt a more acute pain in her uterus. She could only see blurry vision of the doctor helping her to operate and rescue her fetus. When she was half-conscious, she could hear the doctor, Mr Chua, discussing the fetus matter with her husband, John, and she could see her husband’s eye blurred with tears as he clasped the fetus previously scanned x-ray.
“Ron!, don’t go too far, its very dangerous out there!”, Mary bellowed. She stomped into the house and started doing her house chore and left Ron and her little darling, Jane, who was muted and deaf, was only six years old playing outside cheerfully outside the house.
“Ron, Jane!, Dad is back! Play games with you ?” John smiled gracefully at his two chubby kids. While he saw his two lovely kids playing ball, tears rolled down from his freckled cheek, “ My S…on, son… he passed away innocently.” John grieved over his passed away son, peter, over his untimely death. The outline of the settling sun blurred as the bright yellow blended with the flaming red, John and Mary were in their cozy room chatting. Mary planned to go and visit the orphanage and donated a sum of money to help the needy orphan and the poor ones.
The next day, they went to the orphanage at the westwide road near to a very gigantic and beautiful garden with plentiful flowers that filled the whole place a nice scent. They went together to the orphanage and all the people in the orphan welcomed them in and introduced them to their orphanage. John looked around the orphanage. Suddenly, a charming and soothing song travelled to John’s ear that came from the upper void deck of a room which was adorned with light, pink roller blinds. He paced up the aisle relentlessly towards the room and saw a young pretty and charming girl sat at a corner painting a portrait. He went towards the little girl and introduce him to the little girl. She was nine years old, a cute and an obedient girl whose drawing was so fabulous.
“ where are your parents?” Mary affirmed
“ My parents have passed away long time ago in a fire accident and I have managed to escape from the fire.” Alice alleged.
Both John and Mary found that Alice was a cute and obedient child who had a lot of great talents. They wanted to adopted her as their own child. They went to the counter and asked the person in charge, asking the approval of the adoption of the child. After fifteen minutes, the adoption was approved. They brought Alice to their cozy house which boasted of simple clean lines with urban furnitures. She stood in front of the massive front door for a full minute before reaching out for the door bell. Mary brought her in and showed the room to her. When she reached her room, she was so astonished. “WOW! It is so beautiful!”, Alice roared with laughter.
Things changes…. The next day, Ron, Jane and Alice went to school together. When Alice reached school, she looked so special and awkward toward everyone. Everyone looked upon her funny outfit which was not the school uniform. Everyone called her names and making fun of her. She was so pissed off and she stern angrily at everyone, carrying a very heavy and thick book with her wherever she went. Mary and John’s deaf-mute daughter Jane embraces Alice almost immediately, their son, Ron is less welcoming.
Mary grows suspicious when Alice, who watched Mary and John have sex, expresses far more knowledge of sex and its slang than would be expected for a child her age. Not long after Mary arrives, she pushes a schoolmate down a playground slide, who had picked on her, breaking her ankle. Jane saw Alice shove the girl, but covers for Esther by saying that the girl "slipped". However, she is further alarmed when Sister Abigail (CCH Pounder), the head of the orphanage, warns her and John about Esther's tendency to be around when things go wrong. Mary overhears this and later kills Sister Abigail with a hammer to the head. She convinces Jane (puts a gun to her head) to help her hide the body and the hammer. Ron sees Alice and Jane descending from his treehouse from behind a rock, not knowing they hid the hammer there. Later that night, Alice threatens to cut off Ron's "hairless little prick before he knows what its used for" if he tells anyone what he saw.

Jane is told by the orphanage that they cannot find any record of the Russian orphanage Esther came from. However, John does not believe her, despite continued ominous behavior by Alice. That night, Alice deliberately picks flowers for Jane that are from Peter's plant and Mary pushes her to the ground. Later, Esther breaks her own arm in John's vice and convinces John that Mary broke it in the scuffle from earlier. On Alice's first day back at school, she slips Mary's SUV into neutral, nearly killing Jane. Badly shaken, Jane buys two bottles of wine, but at the last minute pours one of them down the drain and leaves the other full.

Mary learns that Alice was housed at a mental institution in Estonia called the Saarne Institute, but when she expresses misgivings to John, he and her counselor think that Mary is relapsing into her drinking habit. After John produces the other bottle Mary bought the night before, he threatens to leave her unless she gets help.

Ron learns of the hammer from Jane and decides to get it and go to the police. However, Alice sets the treehouse on fire, intending to get rid of the evidence and kill Ron. Ron escapes by falling out of the tree, and gets a severe neck injury. Alice tries to finish him off by smashing a brick over his head, but Jane shoves her out of the way just in time. Alice again tries to kill him at the hospital by smothering him with a pillow. As doctors rush to save Ron, Mary angrily knocks Alice down for doing that and is sedated by doctors.

That night, Alice tries to seduce a drunk and sad John. John realizes Mary was telling the truth all along and threatens to call the orphanage. Alice, angry at being spurned, ransacks her room and later stabs John to death. Jane witnesses this and hides in her laundry hamper.

As Mary is coming out of sedation, she gets a call from the Saarne Institute's director, Dr. Värava (Karel Roden), who reveals that alice isn't a 9-year-old girl at all, but a 33-year-old woman named Leena Klammer. She has hypopituitarism, a disorder that stunted her physical growth, and has spent most of her life posing as a little girl. The doctor tells Mary that Alice is dangerously psychotic, and Mary should rush home to her family. Mary rushes home, where Alice shoots her in the arm before searching for Jane.

Their chase takes them outside to a frozen pond, where Mary and Alice struggle before falling through broken ice from the knife Alice tried to stab Mary with. Mary crawls out of the hole, followed by Alice, who begs for her life, addressing Mary as "Mommy". Mary angrily responds that she is not her mother and kicks Alice in the face, breaking her neck and sending her back into the pond to drown.
